Attitudes: Obama and his Cronies

Attitudes: Obama and his Cronies

It’s not a laughing matter, but I can’t help but chuckle. This is called the before look and the after look. Before when the Democrats had a sixty-seat majority, and now, when the Republicans gained a foothold on Congress and that majority no longer exists, attitudes have changed over night. It used to go something like this: Obama and his cronies would talk to you folks (meaning the Republicans) on whatever issues they wanted to talk about—this is called: show and tell. But, at the end of the day, it’s going to be our way—Period, was the attitude of the Democrats. As everything in life goes, things change, they always do, and now that the smirk has been knocked off their upper lips, Obama is using psychology 101: if I don’t get what I want, it’s not my fault, its because the Republicans don’t want to cut a deal, and that’s called “Democracy!” What it is really called is: buffaloing the people, and not working with the Republicans before, and creating a lot of animosity.
Now for the serious stuff: we need change in Health Care, more than we need Education, or flying to the moon the seventh time, and we really need it more than sending another 30,000-troops over to Afghanistan, and we really need it more than sending Clinton with a package from the UN, with our blessings of which we give $20-billion dollars to each year to reconstruct Haiti. I really don’t know where we get all this money, perhaps Russia is right, we need to stop printing it up, we do it without a thought (just write the amount in the right hand corner, and let the Federal Reserve put their seal of approval on it, and that is that.)
We are flooding the world with paper, and one day they are going to wake up and say—we’ve had enough.
But back to the real issue: I do hope the Republicans can over look the condescension the Democrats have been displaying, and do the right thing, and push the bill ahead.
