Kidnapping in Haiti
There has been a lot of fuss going on over the kidnapping of 31-children, by a group known as some sort of religious type. I’m a good old Baptist also, as they claim they are—I really do not want to be associated with them though, for obvious reasons. Actually I wish they would not have even told anyone they were Baptists. Anyhow, I was in Haiti, and I’ve also been to the orphanages, slept on the roof of one, did puppet show for the kids, but I never thought of taking one—surely not 31, over the boarder, for any kind of reasons. I stayed in Haiti and did my good deeds, in the name of the Lord, and for the tranquility of my soul—God forbid I’d think of doing what these ten-people did.
Now let me get into the guilty or not guilty part. Their lawyer says, nine of the ten, didn’t know better. Let me put it frank, we all know better than to take illegal kids across any boarder in any country in the world. We are talking about adults, and what is right and what is wrong. Now we can look at the motive. Perhaps the family members of the children did give approval, I heard some did. But that still doesn’t give anyone the right to break the law as the Bible says, and being good Baptists they should know, it reads “Give to Cesar what belong to him, and to the Lord what belongs to him.” Translated that means, go to the courthouse or to the embassy, or to a judge, or find a lawyer (they found one now) and do it right. So all this talk about I didn’t know better, is hogwash.
Now for the penalty: I see they are looking for a fall person, and I think they found her. And I think because this is such a big distraction, it will have to be resolved quickly, unless they want to suffer the consequences, of American’s closing their pocket books, while they read the new front page headlines. I think they had intentions to take the kids back and give them to nice families, that are willing to pay tributes, you know what I mean, like they do on T.V., send us your donations—pretty please, and go buy condos with it.
