Student Freeloaders (3-2010)

Demanding Tax payers pay for advance Education

Only in America could such a group as they have in California get away with this ongoing screaming, and belly aching about getting an advance free education by the tax payers of America. This isn’t a right. I mean we got two digit unemployment and 90,000-people just in Los Angeles alone sleeping under bridges, and the Baby Boomers are retiring, and two wars going on, and a give away program called: “Stimulus” where do they think the money is going to come from—a money tree? I’d tell these kids to get off there dead rumps and go to work for once in their lives, like everyone else in America, in the world, or go in the Army like I had to, to get the GI Bill, not sit back on some campus, and wait for the next check as if they were the King of Siam. Give them your hand and they’ll take all the way up to your elbow. If it was up to me, I’d stop all this giveaway grant stuff, and feed those poor souls under those bridges first. These educational benefits one gets are for good times, not when the country is sinking into its own vomit from over eating. And now we got these PhD’s giving us advice on how awful our country will be without throwing more money into the free-kitty of education as if we are doomed, as if we are going to drawn tomorrow. They ought to go to the battlefield like our good soldiers, and earn a free education. I do realize some of this money is paid back—very little of it, and you got to chase these kids all over the country for twenty-years to make them pay it back. Oh well, just another opinion. Let’s see if the squeaky wheel gets greased. In the old days we called them freeloaders.
