Something’s Missing!

Why is the will of man
the way it is? I’d
ask Lucifer, but

he’d lie.

I’d ask philosophers,
but they’d say:
“Self-interest”

I’d ask the Clergy,
and they’d surely say
“Original Sin”

I’d ask the psychologist,
and he’d surely say
“Learned actions”

It all comes under
a pitiless heart,
and I’m unable to think

God wanted it that way!

Is God playing Games?
Or are we? I get the sense
somewhere down the line

we told God to get out
of the picture, because He was
too big

to fit —and ever since
then, we’ve been trying
to get Him back in!
