Statement on Anti Semitism (by: Dlsiluk)

Statement on Anti Semitism

Dedicated to: Exposing & Fighting Against Global Anti-Semitism & Anti-Jewish Racism

I see they have my poem (Exposing & Fighting Against Global Anti-Semitism & Anti-Jewish) Racism “The Bulls of Bashan,” on the Anti-Semitism list—or website, not sure if they like it or consider me an enemy. I’ve written perhaps 100-articles in the last ten years, and as many poems on Israel in those ten years, and this is my first they’ve paid me any attention, for my writings. I doubt a person becomes Anti-Jewish over night, so it must be they like the poem. So I thought, then I got thinking: what is Anti Semitism about anyhow and why this poem in particular? Perhaps they just don’t like the truth, or perhaps they don’t like the historical information, or perhaps they just don’t like Americans only their money and bombs and technology. I mean I did write in the poem: Israel didn’t need America to keep it safe; maybe that got their goat. What I meant was (and they really know what I meant in the first place, but I’ll spell it out for them), God really doesn’t need any help from anybody to accomplish his goal. I didn’t mean America shouldn’t help Israel: that’s up to the tax payers and our elected—maybe they got scared they will not get the next four-billion (or perhaps they lost faith, and don’t think God can follow through with his plan for them—it makes you stop and think); ; I don’t know but please don’t push the panic button over something silly. How about Russia, we never did win the war with them, the Cold War, as America claimed it did—I wrote articles about Russia and how we will be getting in a war with them sooner than later, as we will be with Iran. And I wasn’t put on any anti Russian or Iran list. I mean, Russia just sank on it own, God did that, because Russia was never afraid of America, and still isn’t—now that it’s back on its feet. So America cannot take the credit for breaking the Cold War dilemma. Now I say again, is that Anti Russian? I don’t think so—my family came from Russia. Maybe I’m anti black, I wrote books on the Civil War, and I called the black folks Niggers (like William Faulkner and Ernest Hemingway did), the way they were referred to back then, because it was the language they used, but I have black friends, and we have a black president, and I’m not against that—and I’m not on any anti black list—yet. How about Arabs? I wrote more negative things on the Muslims than on the Jews, matter of fact, I wrote a book on the subject of how I felt their faith was contrary to…let’s say, it was an arm of Satan, which he uses. And I wrote about Christian Cults. They never called me Anti-Islamic, or anti Christian. People don’t become anti something over night—and a poet just tells the story as he sees it—I do realize the Jewish Community has a front seat in the White House, and tells the President what he can and can’t do, and has been doing that for a long time, but poets are different—they’re more stubborn. So when you folks label someone, do some research, and just because you don’t like the truth—and you want to control the flow of words, don’t try to bend it, it makes you look worse than you are—I think. So anyhow, I re-read the poem to see if I should give them (you) an apology, and I thought, they don’t deserve one, there’s nothing wrong with the poem, perhaps with their intentions though.
Matter-of-fact, let me add these last two sentences in, when Ariel Sharon was Prime Minister, his office sent me a letter, with a picture attached, of which he signed, and thanked me for what I had to say in one of my books about him. On another note, I have a book signed by David Ben-Gurion, and I cherish it.
